Face Detection Self-timer automatically detects an increase in the number of faces and makes the appropriate adjustments. For instance, to include the photographer's face in a group shot, there's no need to rush in. Just put the camera on a stand or tripod, specify Face Detection Self-timer, and the camera will wait for the photographer's face to get on-camera before it takes the shot. Intelligent Contrast Correction DIGIC 4 also makes possible the i-Contrast (Intelligent Contrast Correction) system, which controls the compensation level in pixel units to brighten dark areas while leaving bright areas unchanged for better images where the main subject is dark, and more natural transition. The PowerShot SX210 IS can even use i-Contrast in playback mode to adjust images that were shot without the setting activated.

Red-eye Correction provides three options for removing red-eye from subjects in flash pictures.
1) Red-eye Correction during shooting actually identifies and corrects red-eye in human subjects as pictures are taken.
2) The PowerShot SX210 IS can be set to automatically detect and correct red-eye during image playback.
3) You can manually locate any red eyes in a scene during image playback on the LCD screen, and command the camera to remove them.

Life doesn't give you second chances to capture special times. That's why the PowerShot SX210 IS features an ISO 1600 setting that reduces the effects of camera shake and sharpens subjects in low-light situations, giving you greater shooting flexibility. ISO can be expanded up to 6400 when you select Low Light mode.

Fisheye Effect uses barrel distortion to warp the image around the center, giving a distinctive curvature effect to the photo. The curvilinear images produced by Fisheye Effect can suggest the curve of the Earth, the inside of a dome, or the image you see through the peephole of a door.

5-Pack Premium Reusable LCD Screen Protector with Lint Cleaning Cloth for Apple iPhone 3G 8GB 16GB [Accessory Export Packaging]

After spending $15 for a package of crystal film covers at the Apple store (I peeled an old, scratched one off the cover, went to use the spare that was included only to find that it had gathered dust and lint under the cover) and ruining the one screen protector that came with my new Speck Candyshell case (it had a piece of lint underneath that caused it to bubble), I figured I would take a chance on these screen protectors as I knew I didn't need anything fancy, just something to keep my keys from scratching my screen in my purse.

It was a great decision. Not only are they cheap, there are 5 of them. They are all packaged individually in their own plastic sleeve (no dust/lint collection from saving them in your desk!) and they all come with a cleaning cloth. I was initially confused by the double layer covers that you peel off the actual screen, but I actually prefer this to a regular screen protector that you peel from the backing only and apply.

I watched a great YouTube video showing you how to apply these types of screen protectors that have the dual backings. If you peel away the first layer as you apply the cover (this way your fingers do not ever have to touch the actual protector since you are touching the backing) and use a credit card to smooth out bubbles as you go, it comes out great. Then you peel off the top layer and it's perfect.

Just received these, and was pleasantly surprised. I've worked with one other type of screen protector (the ones you have to cut out yourself), but don't consider myself an expert by any means.

As others have posted, the product comes as 5 separately-packaged screen protectors. I've only opened one so far, and it contained the screen protector and a piece of cloth. The cloth appears useless, so I threw it away.

The screen protector has protective film on both sides, and a tab affixed to each film, labeled 1 and 2. You simply peel off film #1, then apply the screen protector to your iPhone, then peel off film #2. Again, I'm not an expert by any means, but it worked perfectly for me on the first try. Here's what I did:

- First, I cleaned my iPhone screen completely, using the cloth that came with my phone.
- I positioned the phone horizontally on a table in front if me, so that the top of the phone was on my left, and the bottom of the phone on my right.
- I peeled off film #1, and holding it lightly by the edges with both hands, aligned the top of the film with the top of the phone, without letting it actually touch the screen yet
- Then I started with the top of the phone (my left hand), and set the first inch or so of the film down onto the phone, while keeping the rest of the protector off the surface with my right hand.
- I rubbed the bubbles out of the top section using my left hand, and then lifted my right hand up slightly and brought it towards my left a little. This curved the screen protector, and I was able to then lay it down on the phone moving slowly towards the bottom of the phone in a smooth, even manner.

Hope that makes sense, but I think the key was having the protector bend a little so that it laid down uniformly from side to side. When I was done, I just rubbed a few bubbles out of the very bottom of the phone and it was nearly perfect.

I don't see any of the rainbow effect mentioned by another reviewer, and this protector doesn't interfere with my case (CaseCrown) because my case covers the top edges of the phone. So, overall very satisfied with the protector, and should get a lot of mileage out of them since I have 4 more to use.

P.S. Those who complained about bits of glue being left behind may have tried to remove the tab from the outer film, when in fact you are supposed to remove the entire sheet of protective film using the tab. This could also explain the rainbow effect some have seen, if they inadvertently left the top layer of protective film on the screen protector.by

GPS Experience:
I have been a GPS user for over 10 years. I have owned Garmin's, Tom Toms, Magellan's, Mio, DASH, and others.

Packaging:
You get a brown box with all the Garmin pieces inside and most important it's recyclable.

Physical unit:
The 295t has a power button on the top, it also has a 2.5mm headphone jack/audio line-out on top. It has volume up and down button on the right side and well as a camera button on the right side. The left side has the USB as well as the windshield bracket connection. The nice thing is that you can connect the power directly to the bracket.

First Impression:
I just received my Nuvi 295t and I have to say that I excited about the concept of being able to connect to the Internet to surf or to find POI's. I believe that all future PND units will have some kind of wi-fi connection or a bluetooth connection through your phone. The PND companies are loosing market share to all the NAV phones that are on the market. The 3.5 inch screen is SMALL. If you like having a 4.3" screen or even a 5" inch screen you might not like this small screen. Remember this a similar size to most NAV phones on the market today.

Navigation:
It has spoken street names (e.g. "Turn right on Elm street in 500 ft."). The directions given were similar to other Garmin units. The directions were accurate. The unit displays the posted speed limit, and your current speed on the bottom right. It displays your arrival time on the bottom left. On the top of the screen it displays the next turn arrow with the street name. The "Jill" directional voice is low and tiny...it must be a small speaker.

Screen:
3.5" inches. Dual-orientation automatically switches between portrait and landscape view. The Scrolling menu option was a nice add-on.

Wi-fi(web surfing, weather, e-mail):
Web surfing: Connected to an available hot spot was fast a easy. The web pages display as full web pages. You have the option to enlarge or reduce the web pages with a (+) or (-) that displays on the screen. Loading web pages was average with some taking longer to load.
Weather: while connected via wi-fi you can check your local forecast from the main menu. You would have to use the browser to go to [...] to view radar, and maps.
E-mail: setting an e-mail account was fast and easy. Once you are connected via wi-fi you can check your email from the main menu. The email icon shows how many un-opened emails that you have in your inbox. I was able to setup 2 e-mail accounts. The screen qwerty keyboard is not the greatest but you can still input the URL's and other info.

Wi-fi (Google searches):
Once you are connected via wi-fi and you have the option to use Google Search to find POI's that were not listed in the 6 million POI database. The searches were fast and easy. Once they are found the unit can route you to your destination. You can also use 1-step navigation from contacts, e-mail, and local search results.
